SASilicates Manufacturing 

Soluble silicates are produced by fusing high purity quartz sand (SiO2) and alkali carbonate (soda, Na2CO3 or potash, K2CO3) at temperatures of 1300-1500 °C. The resulting product is an amorphous glass that can be dissolved in water to produce silicate solutions.
